Meet Carol O’Connell!
Carol’s passion has always been in the medical, beauty and skin care industry. She genuinely enjoys teaching advanced aesthetics at Love Beauty Pro in Woburn, MA. Carol comes to Love Beauty Pro as a seasoned instructor with more than 30 years in the medical and aesthetic field! She possesses a versatile experience between medical, teaching and aesthetics, and is noted as a motivated leader whose passions are helping people, contributing to team building and providing excellent clientele/patient care. Carol currently holds a Massachusetts and New Hampshire instructor’s license in cosmetology and aesthetics, a master aesthetic license in New Hampshire and a class one cosmetology license in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She holds numerous certifications and credentials in numerous areas of aesthetics and is also certified in oncology aesthetics. She has a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and was a surgical technologist for 14 years at Salem Hospital. As the founder of a medical spa in 2004, Carol owned and operated the spa for 14 years in the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts and received numerous awards and honors. She established a trusting positive relationship with clientele and still services clients with advanced treatments today.
Meet Kathy Thomas!
Kathy is a licensed esthetician and licensed instructor with over 14 years in the medspa business. Wishing to offer her clientele clinical results-driven treatments, she opened Hopkinton Skin Care, located in Hopkinton, MA, in 2018. Kathy is certified on many laser platforms and medical devices such as Plasma Concepts®, Plasma Pen™, Collagen PIN Microneedling, Endy Med and IPL, to name a few, as well as many medical grade product lines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication design and marketing from the University of Buffalo. Having owned, managed and provided many services, Kathy understands the need to gain a client’s trust and listen to their concerns. Educating her clients on results-driven skin care treatments is what she loves to do. She is very proud to play a small role in positively impacting her clients’ lives. Her motto for skin care is “slow and steady wins the race to aging gracefully.” She looks forward to working with you! In her time away from work, Kathy loves spending time with her adult children and
traveling with family and friends whenever possible. She loves sailing in Narragansett Bay and island hopping in different countries.
Meet Katherine (Katie) Bucuzzo!
Katie has eight years of experience working in the aesthetics industry as an esthetician and an educator. Being a graduate in business management and healthcare administration from Northern Essex Community College and a 2012 graduate of Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics has led Katie to her love and passion for aesthetics. During her position as lead esthetician at a medspa in the Boston area, Katie had advanced training in chemical peels, laser hair removal, microneedling, dermaplaning, IPL and more. With this extensive training and practical experience, she became an advanced aesthetics trainer and gained years of managerial experience in both training and spa management. Katie has trained in brand protocols for numerous skin care lines such as WiQo® PRX-T33® and aesthetics technology with Med Pen Concepts. As a lead training coordinator for Love Beauty Pro, Katie uses her extensive experience and advanced training to work closely with our clinical director, Lisa Feltz Ricciardelli, to plan and implement training.
