As entrepreneurs and invested leaders, Amy and Brendan wear many hats at Love Beauty Pro, and it makes perfect sense, considering their roots. After securing a bachelor’s degree in business and a certification for financial planning from Boston University, Amy launched her first business, Essentials, a spa and beauty supply company which eventually expanded into training for aestheticians, medical professionals and industry manufacturers.
As Essentials expanded, Brendan came on board to build the sales team. It was a perfect fit for Brendan, who has a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Penn State University. Brendan’s career has always been laser focused (pun intended!) on innovations in medical devices for the aesthetics and cosmetic surgery industries.
Two years ago, Amy left Essentials and the rest, they say, is history. Amy became the president and founder of Love Beauty Pro, Medical & Institute in Woburn, also known as Love Beauty Professional. Love Beauty Pro is aptly named, considering how much Amy and Brendan love their work. “We feel so lucky being able to make a living following our passion and helping others build their business!” says Amy.
Love Beauty Pro originally serviced regional medspas, plastic surgeons and dermatologists in New England, but the business quickly evolved into a national company with 20 independent sales representatives and 15 advanced aesthetics trainers, all at the top of their fields.
Both Amy and Brendan have a hand in driving the success of Love Beauty Pro, though they do divide and conquer, depending on their strengths. As an ‘operations guy,’ Brendan’s biggest focus is the execution of sales and marketing, while Amy oversees all aspects of the business, with a keen focus on training, promotion and finances. With over 14 years of aesthetics experience, Amy has extensive knowledge of the aesthetics industry. Her passion for customer service and her ability to build training and education programs ensures the most positive outcomes for providers and patients alike.
