How Healeon PRP Works

Healeon Medical’s PRP system uses a proprietary gel to isolate platelets to optimum concentration above baseline. With this system, virtually all Red Blood Cells (RBC) are eliminated from PRP, and the concentration of pro-inflammatory Granulocytes (GRs) is dramatically reduced.

PRP is prepared using a small sample of a patient’s own blood which is processed via centrifuge to separate platelets from Platelet-Poor Plasma (PPP), RBC and GRs. Isolated PRP can then be collected and applied to the treatment area. The entire preparation process takes less than 20 minutes.
