This is a live hands-on course held in MA. \nDid you know?  MA State Board of Cosmetology allows estheticians licensed in MA to perform IPL without a Medical Director\, after 30-hour certification by a State Board Approved program like ours. \n——————- \n\nWhat is IPL? \n\n\n\nIntense Pulsed Light (IPL) services are quickly becoming the method of skin rejuvenation and hair removal preferred by clients. It is a type of light therapy that can address several skin conditions without injuring the skin’s surface. IPL is ideal for fine lines and wrinkles\, hyperpigmentation\, redness or rosacea and unwanted hair. This treatment is non-invasive and almost entirely pain-free. Since results can last up to a year or more\, many clients desiring younger looking\, smoother skin are requesting IPL. This 30-hour training program combines didactic lecture and extensive practical hands-on experience with emphasis on safety and efficacy. Training includes treatment planning\, marketing\, and business building tips. By the end of this course\, attendees will have built a solid foundation of theory and practical knowledge for performing hair removal and photofacial treatments. \nThis extensive course provides estheticians\, nurses\, and electrologists with theoretical and practical methods of how to safely optimize treatment when using devices such as the IPL. Attendees will provide and receive treatments during hands-on. \nDay 1:  Self-Study from Home with Materials provided after you register.
